What to Expect at Vibrant Health Solutions During Your First Appointment
Arriving at our clinic is similar to any medical office visit. Our entire team is here to answer your questions and make the process a positive experience. Hereโs what you can expect:
- Upon arrival, register at the front desk. Weโll ask for your insurance information and any other paperwork you may have brought (e.g., referral, X-ray or MRI reports, and other medical documents).
- Youโll then have your initial evaluation with one of our case managers. Theyโll thoroughly review your medical history and current pain, illness, or injury. Please be open and honest; weโre here to listen and understand your concerns to provide the best solution!
- Next, our nurse practitioner will conduct a physical examination to evaluate your range of motion, strength, and movement patterns.
- Pain Assessment: Discuss the painโs location, intensity, duration, and factors that affect it.
- Musculoskeletal Examination: Check for tenderness, swelling, range of motion, and muscle strength.
- Neurological Examination: Assess nerve function, including reflexes, sensation, and motor strength.
- Functional Assessment: Evaluate how pain impacts daily activities and quality of life.
- Psychosocial Assessment: Understand the emotional and psychological impact of pain, including stress, anxiety, and depression.
- Review of Medical History: Examine past medical records, treatments, and medications related to pain management.
- Based on your evaluation, weโll develop a therapy plan tailored to your needs. Our team will explain the findings and provide information, education, and some treatments to relieve pain, improve mobility, and start your recovery. Each session will build on this initial evaluation to maximize the impact of your therapy.
- Weโll also discuss your goals and, based on clinical experience, determine the duration and frequency of your sessions. - Before leaving, youโll schedule your remaining sessions at the front desk.
